Events in Eyke and surrounding areas
On Saturday, 18th December the Ipswich Gilbert & Sullivan Society will be singing a selection of carols in the Elephant & Castle from 7pm. This will be followed by a carol singalong.
Please come and join in, and start the Christmas celebrations off in style.

Church Club in Eyke

Crib Service in Eyke
The crib service in Eyke this year will be at 5.00pm and will be taken by Janice Leaver. The whole family is welcome to come along, especially the children who will bring the crib to life as the traditional carols are sung during the service. It is a wonderful way to start the Christmas Festivities and to remember why and what we celebrate at this time.
CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL
The weekend of the Festival will be from 3rd-5th December (See page of Church Services for more details) and will be held in our cluster churches: Eyke, Rendlesham (St. Felix and St. Gregory), Tunstall and Wantisden.
In order for this to be a success for our communities we need different groups in each of the villages to produce a “Christmas Tree”. This can be made of any material and each church’s entries will be differently themed. That for Eyke will be “Community Life” which should give plenty of scope when it comes to design. The only stipulation is that it is lit so that when the church lights are dimmed it shows up. Let your imagination run riot and produce something that is apposite and memorable.

Eyke Millennium Group
The group would like to thank everyone who supported them for the carol singing in the churchyard just before Christmas. A sum of £30 was raised and this has been donated to the Children's Hospice in Ipswich. Other Millennium Group news >>
