On Friday 28th March the Sunshine Club from Eyke were taken to an event held at Sutton Heath Community Centre which involved three youth clubs including Rock Barracks Youth, customising three mobility scooters. The idea was designed to increase awareness of the differing attitudes of different generations regarding anti-social behaviour.
The scooters were out through a series of tasks at speeds of up to 5 m.p.h. Fun was had by all. The scooters were then judged on which one had been adapted the best. Items included a litter grabber, a whistle to attract attention, a larger shopping basket and one with a 'Respect' logo. All those at the event were treated to a full lunch. A good time aws had by all.
Can I apologise for the 'Headlight' effect on my uniform. This is the flourescent stripe! Terry Barrow, PCSO 3111, Wilford Peninsula.
